A long time ago, in a galaxy not too far away, there was a girl who lived and breathed fairy tales, became enchanted by secret worlds and hidden things, and harbored a dream of being a mad scientist when she grew up.
Geneticist to be exact, but alas life often has other plans (and in this case the universe knew what it was doing, because she most likely would have purposefully started the zombie apocalypse, or created a Man-Bear-Pig, and you never want to go full Man-Bear-Pig).
In 2010, she started creating one of a kind art dolls, and her dream of creation came to fruition. Holding the secret…to life…itself...and fueled by her love offairy tales and dark whimsy, she creates fanciful figures and enchanted beings (although no Man-Bear-Pig…yet).
Shauna is a member of the Professional Doll Makers Art Guild, Tulsa Association of Doll Artists and the Oklahoma Visual Arts Coalition.
Shaun's work has been shown in galleries and her work has appeared in print articles and her work has been published in Art Doll Quarterly and Cloth Paper Scissors Studios magazines.
